2/24/18 - UC Santa Barbara commit. 6-foot-3, 190-pound frame that is long, lean, with wiry strength, squared shoulders, with a defined lower half. Physique projects to add strength and mass with further maturation and development. Timko offers a ton of position flexibility as he can play corner outfield, first base, and is a left-handed pitcher. Offensively, Timko shows an athletic and balanced setup that is upright with hands between his ear and shoulder. There is a little bat waggle trigger before he pulls his hands back then through the hitting zone. Swing can get long as a result. Shows good barrel control through the zone along with plate coverage and pitch recognition. Takes aggressive swings, at times to his detriment. Shows some pull side power.
