Chapman University commit. Foard has a lean build that is still quite away from full physical maturity on a 6-foot-0 170-pound frame. He has plus receiving ability and showed it time and time again by capturing strikes on the edges of the zone. Possesses a quick release with above average arm strength that will continue to improve with lower body strength gains. His blocking ability is also a plus defensive attribute. Offensively he displayed a solid stroke with barrel awareness. His power may develop with future strength gains. Foard also runs well given his position. He's a strong defensive oriented catcher with a chance to develop into a threat as a hitter.
