3/18/18 – UC Santa Barbara commit. 6 foot 4, 210-pound XL frame with long arm, legs and significant physical projection remaining. Lewis's frame can handle more weight and muscle comfortably without compromising his athleticism. Lewis displays plus bat speed, good hand separation with excellent leverage, and extension on an elongated swing path. He has over the fence power potential. Lewis can do damage if he barrels it up, however he has trouble recognizing secondary pitches; which he gets a steady diet of. Lewis is adequate defensively with the ability to pick up the routine ground ball, move laterally; and is an easy target to throw to at 1B. Currently, Lewis has not pitched in the regular season and is nursing an injury back to health. The Vikings staff says he is close to a return to the mound.
