Bay Area World Series 2022 - Uncommitted; Long body, at 6-foot-7 185-lbs he certainly grabs attention, first look might suggest like many tall young pitchers he is a project but in this one look he was a pitcher in a project type body, pounded the zone with a FB up to 88 at ProCase and 86 mph at BAWS that showed depth toward bottom of the zone, heavy sinker type stuff is in his future, long extension out to 6.4 avg and considerable horizontal movement, SL and CB numbers not that far off each other with CB 75-76 mph and SL 77-79 mph which suggests pitches tagged as CB were all sliders, in any case the pitch does present more as small slider 1750 avg spin, spitter with low spin (645) and tumbling action in the zone, showed feel for the splitter, all pitches came from very similar extension and release height which allows for a tunneling effect of his offerings, definitely a unique 2023 to keep an eye on.
