Body: 6’1 185’lbs. Medium frame. Lean athletic build. Strong lower half. Room to add.                      Delivery: Athletic uptempo delivery. Side steps into a pronounced chest high knee tuck. Good sit into backleg. Shoulders work slightly behind the hips into footstrike. Creates good linear/rotational force. Hard force into landing. Direction is through home. Larger stride (92% of height). Minimal head movement. Firm lead leg block. Present forward trunk tilt.
Arm Action: RH. Clean quick AA. Hand lead path that leads into some decent scap-retraction/horizontal-abduction. Present layback creates some whip into release. Above avg. arm speed. Works to a H ¾ slot. Consistent arm speed but inconsistent slot at times.
FB: Gloveside tendency. Good ride up in the zone. Flashed high end IVB at 23 inch max. Late whiffs up. 
SL: High end spin (2839 rpm max). Minimal IVB. Tighter sweeper shape. Good feel in-zone. Generated swing/miss.

Came in first relief for Trosky Baseball that might have been one of the more intriguing arms of the day. From a large athletic build, Govel sat 81-83mph with hard 2 seam action. Delivery seemed more natural and easy than any other pitcher on the day. His 12/6 CV has a chance to be an above average pitch if thrown with same conviction as FB. Lower half stays closed nicely throughout delivery.
