Intriguing prospect on the mound although he’s an athletic outfielder. While pitching, Selby showed a lively fastball that dances around the strike zone. Works the pitch in-and-out utilizing the entire zone to his advantage. Likes to elevate the fastball in strikeout situations. Pitch lived 88-89 mph while touching 91 mph. Changeup flashes plus pitch potential. Works lower half of strike zone with it and flashes big, sweeping actions. Pitch worked 79-81 mph touching 82 mph. Ends delivery in athletic position while inline with landing foot. Dips his hips and drives with lower half to explode into delivery.
