9/2016 - Made USA 18U National Team.
8/9/16 - Greene started for the Brewers (Southern California) against the Nationals (Southeast) and pitched 2.2 innings, allowing three hits while striking out four. He came out sitting 97-98 mph early and ranged from 93-96 after that. He pitches with a quick tempo and loose, free arm action. His slider is a wipeout pitch at 79-83 and accounted for two of his strikeouts. He struggled with it some in the second inning, but still has two other pitches that can get outs. While he buried some of his changeups, he did flash feel for the pitch, which sat 87-88.
7/24/16 - Started Under Armour All-America Game. Was anywhere from 94-97 and had an efficient inning, allowing just one hit that was eliminated on a double play.
6/23/16 - In the third game of the day, the UCLA recruit took the hill for the Pride in the third inning. The first pitch out of his hand was 96 mph with life. He sat 94-97 for two innings, allowing just one hit—a bloop single—while striking out four. He pitches with an up tempo delivery and has a loose, quick arm. He gets down angle on his fastball and flashes arm-side sink to it. Greene’s best secondary pitch—at least in this outing—was his changeup. It sat 85-86 and he has excellent feel for it. It looks like a fastball out his hand and features fading action. He also mixed in a slider in the low 80s with sweeping action, though it had occasional sharpness.
6/22/16 - Stands out physically at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds and employed a loose, easy swing in BP. He takes a good path with bat speed and made lots of loud contact. He had a mostly middle-of-the-field approach. His hands and feet work well in the infield and he has easy arm strength
