3/26/18 at Boras Classic - Uncommitted, physical 6-foot-2 200 pound build, looks built appropriately for the position, maintains athleticism along with good present day strength. Arm strength really stands out, ball was coming out 79-80 mph on warm-up throws with good carry to the bag. Pop times can get lower as he does have some length on the backside of the arm action but he can make up ground with the pure arm strength. Put in good ball blocking effort and looks willing to do the dirty work and also has verbal field skills. Steady and strong player. Chance to be a middle of line-up hitter beyond college level, showed gap power presently and projects to hit with some pop at the college level. Catches quite a few high level high school pitchers so transition to college arms should not be an issue.
