NorCal Preseason All-State:
7.89 60yd, 81 OF, 82 EV
6-0, 173 long frame with some budding strength throughout; projectable young frame. Slightly opened and narrow stance keeping some hand rhythm with them deep by back shoulder; rides his stride well staying in the back hip with slight foot lift as hands show small load back. Flat barrel works level through the zone with loose hands; stays balanced well through contact and showed ability to have quickness in his turns. Worked middle of the field and pullside with line drives and with more strength could add more carry (82 EV). Consistently worked to catch the ball above his head moving in time and allowing full swing arm to work loosely and cleanly through the 3/4 slot; chance for more arm strength to go with current accuracy (81 OF).
4/16/19
vs Lemoore at Fresno Easter Classic - Compact, strong runner-type body. Can hit. Easy stroke from the right side that is simple and quiet. High average-type hitter. Everything was gap-to-gap and barreled in his three at-bats. Defensively shows above average range with a good first step and jump.
10/28/18
Fall tournnament - In a brief look he stood out with an athletic body (height/weight not listed, looked to be 5-foot-9ish and 155-pound-ish, showed bunt skills, good baserunning, lashing swing, pounded double to left and certainly looked the part of a rising sophomore to be aware of.
