7/23/20

Positional Profile: 2B
Body: 5-foot-9, 170-pounds. Stout and compactly built with thicker proportions.
Defense: Sound fielding mechanics, patterns feet well to field and quickly get to the throw, soft hands, gains ground and good body control. Not swift afoot but light feet.
Arm: RH. INF - 81 mph. Short backside getting to overhand release, gets rid of it quickly, efficient thrower.
Hit: RHH. Traditional setup, feet just outside shoulders, slight knee bend, barrel in good position over shoulder, small stride foot lift prior to stride, quiet small hand load.  Good balance after stride, drifts some before rotation of hips, short swing w/nice barrel control, sees it well, appears to be confident in the box.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity in cage front toss session.
Run: 7.62 runner in the 60.

6/26/19

PBR BAY AREA OPEN: Medium, full frame proportional build; young frame with ability to add strength as he matures and grows and improving measurables. Open stance, slight crouch keeping high quiet hands on the back shoulder; hands lift with controlled wide hitting position finding best swing when he’s stays in the back hip longer. Quick hands with compact barrel showing full two-handed swing with whip through the front of the zone as he showed a direct path to the baseball; pulled balls into the outfield (83 EV) with strength in swing and bat showing some future extra base power. Good first step hop when attacking the baseball in front of him; tends to play a bit higher with the glove showing good reactions with it. Shorter range flashing growing footwork that fits at 3rd base. Compact arm showed longer release with hand speed out front (72 MPH).
