PBR CA STATE GAMES - XL, lanky and wide shouldered frame with long limbs especially in the legs; body growth in noticeable and seems to just be scratching the surface of his athletic control. Flashed some two-way skills, but future may be on the mound where the LH arm plays up and has space to keep making major jumps. At the plate works with high hands and slight crouch; hands are steep and direct to the baseball producing length in the bat path. When he shortens up the barrel showed more bat-to-ball skills. On the mound went three strong innings striking out two, giving up three hits and walking 1. Hands stay at stomach with slight lift through athletic high front knee showing loose and agile hips with the ability to open upon firm landing; delivery can continue to smooth out and helps to produce momentum down the hill. Arm is compact out of glove getting to H-3/4 release with easy fluidity; showed ability to repeat mechanics and release point. FB 69-73 T75 with cut to the glove side and run to the arm side; ability to locate on both sides of the plate. CB 59-63 1/6 shape with early bend and long actions with depth; when he throws it through the zone the pitch has late overhand actions speeding up the break through the zone and producing some swing and miss. Very projectable 2022 arm to follow.
