10-24-2018: Large frame, lean with length in legs and high waist; frame has space for added growth without taking away from athleticism. At the plate works with high hands and high elbows to match; pulls front elbow down early getting hands angled towards the catcher while tall, balanced stance is relaxed. Slight lean into back hip as hands work back and up into pocket as he gains ground with front leg. Tucks hands and back elbow tight to body as he gets on plane while showing ability to create easy loft from a quick bat path; showed quick turns while flashing separation between upper/lower half. In batting practice flashed above average raw pull power and the ability to drive the ball deep into the gaps and to center field. On defense showed fringe average range with the ability to get his wide hips low and be athletic around the base; below average arm with low slot that’s pushy on throws when starting double-plays. Below-average runner with athletic gait; utilizes long legs to move down line. (Ozella)
