Bay Area World Series 2020 (BAWS) - Uncommitted; Consistently showed a hit tool that looks very capable of playing at the next level. Short, compact, quick stroke with outstanding barrel feel. Projects to be able to hit quality pitching. Athletic catcher w/strong receiving/block skills.

NorCal Preseason All State: Lee was a player I’d seen this Fall and he came out with a focused demeanor where he showed the ability to fit at multiple positions and the arm strength to translate to the next level. After a 7.28 60yd, Lee showed a quick bat allowing his hands to stay tight to the frame as he used his level stroke lining balls with easy carry gap-to-gap. Lee is an athletic frame and because of that showed off behind the plate and in the OF where his arm strength can carry him (79 C/87 OF MPH). From the OF the throws were firm and online to both bags with strong footwork and easy actions. Behind the plate he can keep improving his direction out of the crouch to 2nd base, but with his arm strength could make big leaps in this spot as well; throws were regularly around the bag.

Underclass tourney - Two viewings by same scout: Stocky yet still athletic body type. Receives well and can steal strikes. Has a strong arm and threw out runner from knees. Good hands and quick reaction at 3rd base. Hits from open stance with good bat control. He’s more of a contact hitter, doesn’t have a lot of pop but shoots the holes and puts good barrel on the ball. Not much of a threat on the bases but hustles and runs it out. /// Short athletic ball player, showed a lot of smarts for catching position. Communicates well with teammates. He moves his body athletically, also receives well and can frame pitches. Strong blocking skills with an above average arm with 2.0 pop time and can throw runners out from knees. Good reactions at 3B with range and good foot with strong arm. Short compact swing with good bat control and can spray the ball all over the field. Not much of a power hitter, more of a line drive hitter. Hard-working player. Ballplayer.
