3/1/19 - Uncommitted. Behind the plate he sets up with a quiet body and flashes soft hands. With a breaking ball dominant pitcher on the mound Mazzetti showed quickness in his movements to block balls in the dirt and to the sides. Had a feel for Blawn’s stuff/action as he routinely beat the ball to the spot and framing pitches to get the called strike. At the plate he shows an uppercut swing that has some natural lift/power to it. The bat flashes potential as he shows a knack for maintaining the barrel in the hitting zone. Squared up his two fly ball outs to left field, just missing on one of them.
