At Los Gatos - Uncommitted. On base three times with two hits and a walk. Continues to flash bat-to-ball skills singling to CF twice, once after falling behind 0-2. At SS showed range behind 3B bag tracking down pop up with foot speed and instincts to stick at position with playable arm. Athletic skills that will allow him to play at multiple spots in the field.

Vs Serra - Uncommitted. Advincula started at SS and showed the footspeed and quickness to stick in the middle of the field. He made a really nice play in the hole giving a clean hop to 1st and another play where he went behind 3B to make a catch on a pop up. On base twice, driving in a run late with a clean single to LCF from a relaxed stance at the plate. He’s the type of athlete who can play in the middle infield or out in the OF and has also hopped on the mound for the Monarchs showing versatility and flashes of bat speed.

Uncommitted. 6-foot, 175-pound frame. Long torso with athletic build in lower half; wiry strength in legs and firm strength in arms currently. Multi-position athlete who is regular table setter atop very strong lineup. 0-1, HBP. Very relaxed at plate with even feet and looseness in arms and shoulders pre-pitch; gets bat vertical quickly with high leg kick load and small bat turn while hands load into firing position. Compact swing, shows quick hands and full two-hand follow through; designed for line drives with limited power profile. Bat has some hook in it, especially against off-speed, as he looks to get going down the line. Full speed very quickly out of box (4.4) with shorter stride length. Very quick reactions defensively with body control and fluidity in actions. Quick release of ball from lower arm slot; slightly average arm that plays up due to athleticism and quick actions. Future could be in CF where quick actions could play up and allow him to track balls down. If stays in MIF, will need to work on strengthening arm for SS, but would be solid at 2B.
