Jordan Marian, JSerra Catholic  (CA), 2025
Positional Profile
: MINF/OF
Body: 6-0, 185-pounds. Medium frame. Athletic build that is starting to fill out with some present strength.
Defense: Athletic actions. Light feet. Works low to the ground. Soft hands. Average exchange and quickness to release. Works through the ball well.
Arm: RH. INF - 78 mph. Short AA. Above average strength. Easy effort. Present accuracy.
Hit: SH. Similar stances from both sides. Athletic set up. Simple trigger as hands load into  a solid launch position. Compact swing that works with above avg. bat speed through. More FBs than LDs/GBs during BP round. Natural barrel feel (88mph avg. EV). Flashed pullside power from the left side. Balanced throughout. 3H during game action.

9/25/21

Body: 6-0, 175-pounds. Long limbs, broad shoulders, projectable build both on the mound and on the field.
Hit: SH. Athletic and compact setup from the right and left side. Hands start and stay low throughout the swing, emphasizes keeping the back elbow tucked and driving the ball. Front side clears well helping his bat and hand speed.  Blast Motion scores of 39-37-49. Plane and connection improvement needed, switch-hitting results can be misleading though, swing consistency from both sides of the plate needed but takes time. Rotation score grading the highest highlights his Blast data as it shows power projectability and overall quality swing projection.
Power: 89.00 max exit velocity
Arm: INF - 76.00 mph. Above-average arm across the diamond for class, consistent release point, size and strength play at third.
Defense: Raw feel but looks the part, stays low and balanced, two-way player projection.

Delivery: Solely out of the stretch, keeps shoulders directed towards homeplate, glove and arm level, leg lift inconsistent, natural finish.
Arm Action: Arm works naturally, follow through arm speed notable, arm swing in the back could be sped up immediately for velocity gains. Fastball and changeup work off same release point, curveball arm slot a touch lower.
FB: T78, 72-75 mph. Fastball shows some carry, limited side-to-side movement, works best away to RHH.
SL: 60-64 mph. Slider shows tight spin with bite, slightly lower arm angle release telegraphs pitch a tad at times, swing and miss potential.
