3/25/26

Walczykowski went 4-for-8 with four stolen bases and five runs scored while playing clean defense. On the season, he continues to impact the game with his speed and consistency.

3/23/26
I’ve always been a big fan of watching Walczykowski play, he always seems to be in the right spot, plays the game hard, and does the little things right. He may not have squared up a ball, but he still ended up with two hits. It helps that he can really run and put pressure on the defense. In his first at bat, he battled and was able to put a ball in the 5-6 hole on the ground and beat it out for an infield single. His second hit came off of a sacrifice bunt, but his placement was so perfect, it nearly hugged the foul line until it hit the base for a hit, the defender couldn’t do anything about it. Walzykowski ended up stealing two bags on the day, including a swipe of third base. His athleticism and defense are going to keep him in this game a long time, he just needs to refine his approach because there are times where he can play out of character. Walczykowski is headed to the University of San Diego this fall.
5/23/25

Walczykowski is one of the better outfielders in the Northern California region, having seen him since the fall, he's one of Jesuit's tops of the lineup hitters and knows how to patrol the outfield with ease. His .315 AVG is a bit lower than I expected but with a tough Sierra Foothill League, those numbers are pretty good still. He's got a ton of speed which is why I think he will be able to stay in CF, and the power is only going to come in the future. The games where I've seen him, he hasn't really done much but he has shown glimpses of his sweet lefty swing. He is still uncommitted, but I don't think that will be the case going into this summer, because Walczykowski has a ton to like.
