2/20/18 - Cal signee. 6-foot-3, 185 pound lanky frame with somewhat broad shoulders and an upper body that looks like it can hold more size. Still looks like a fairly natural build that isn't maxed out. One of the top pitchers in N. California and certainly one of the most unique deliveries combined with quality stuff. Quick paced delivery with deep stab on backside, creates a high front shoulder on front side while hiding the ball well, delivers the fall from an overhand slot, stays online well with stride leg and despite all that movement in his delivery he maintains body control, finishes in an upright position with his arm whipping through. Occasionally locked out front leg and spun off, causing him to yank his hand off line. Fastball at times with steep angle and run, other times riding on the arm side. Curveball big hook that tumbles with steady downer rolling action.
