8/10-8/12/18 Area Code Underclass Games: Extra large frame with long legs, lean build including high waist; projectable body with budding muscles showing strength currently. Simple, delivery with mid-3/4 release from around his ear; high front knee allows hands to break cleanly into compact circle with strong finish down the hill over front leg. Regularly lands over strong front leg with consistent release point. FB 84-86, T87 best with arm-side angle; pitched in upper half of zone through two outings with success other than one pitch that was hit out. CHG 78-81 showed arm-side run with ability to turn over pitch and have late actions; inconsistent control of pitch with developing feel. Used for swing and miss while ahead in count. SLD 73-75 with short, lateral break showing limited depth on pitch; feel for pitch and ability to go back-to-back changing location of pitch. Used this pitch while ahead in count with off the plate actions for swing and miss. 3IP over 2 games with 2 runs on a HR, 3 hits and 1 K, 1 BB.
