Positional Profile: 3B
Body: 5-11, 175-pounds. Muscular lower body, athletic proportions, sizeable frame for additional size and strength.
Hit: RHH. Tall set-up, slightly open, medium depth in box, slight crouch, hands start fairly high before lowering into medium depth load, quiet smooth stride. Has bat control, extends though contact well which allows power to play to all fields, finishes with authority, loose stroke with life through contact, gets to leverage against front side, quiet head.
Power: 85 max exit velocity, 67 max bat speed, 21.7 max hand speed.
Arm: RH. INF - 3B 73 mph. Longer backside when he had time to set feet, shorter more traditional 3B arm stroke when on the move, 3/4 release.
Defense: Athletic confident defender, smooth feet, has range that plays up with strong anticipation and instincts, confidence in his feet allows hands to play as very sure.
Run: 7.25 runner in the 60.

Positional Profile: RHP
2 IP; K, E3, K, 6-3, K, F7, 1B, 1B
Delivery: simple compact. Stretch position. Preloaded back side. Good synergy with leg and hands at leg lift and travel. Works a little horizontal at front foot contact
Arm Action: RH. 3/4 release with a repeatable arm circle.
FB: T72, 70-71 mph. Not overpowering. Will locate to both sides of the plate. Where he lacks in velo he makes up in movement. A lot of weak contact.
CB: 57-60 mph. Medium break with good depth and late bite. Thrown early for strikes.
CH: 58-61 mph. Same plain as his FB and is -10 velocity. Usual results: Swing and misses, takes early in the count and pop ups to the infield.

6/06/21

Bay Area World Series Underclass (6/4/21-6/6/21)

Offensive notes: Even hands, high back elbow stance with early rhythm and coil around the back hip finding a strong hinge. Rotates well using a direct hand path. Finds balance in his swing allowing him to drive liners through middle and gap. In game showed similar liner-type bat path with ability to change contact points to different pitches. Understands his swing and when to get aggressive. Large frame with strength present and more projection on the lanky body. 60-yard - 7.31 / EV mph - 88

Defensive notes: Low and flexible at the position with face in the glove. Uses his athleticism for throws to bags. Stayed with good positions for picks and willing to help his fielders with stretches. Accurate throw to bases. 3B mph - 77

Pitching notes: Fluid delivery with step back to high knee tuck before sink and drive delivery gaining lots of ground down the hill. Uses the lower half well getting front side to stop and allow armspeed to pick up as he works down the hill; Fluid, lower slot 3/4 release. FB works with small sink and angle to gloveside showing bits of two-seam run; best when he's living in bottom half of the zone. CB loose short slurvy type break having times where there's sweep at the end. Mainly gloveside with the pitch. CHG was straight showing times of more bottom. FB 71-75 / CB 58-62 / CHG 64-66
