10/18/13 - Medium frame showing mature build including high waist with defined muscles throughout. Open, tall stance with high hands/high back elbow and bat bouncing off his back with hand wiggle; utilizes front leg lift with turn of body around back leg. Hands load back and up and work on level plane through the baseball; strength in wrists/forearms maintaining angles through contact while bats whips through zone with late acceleration. Athletic out of box showing ability to make up speed down the line (4.59 on turn during 2B to RF). Above average arm showing strength in throws while regularly being on the bag into runners sliding lane (1.88-1.91 pop in warmups and pre-inning, 2.07 caught stealing in game); arm gets out of glove smoothly with quick transition getting elbow to ear and arm into strong throwing position. Glove hand works low in zone with narrow, balanced base; shows athletic ability when moving side-to-side blocking and in footwork on throws to 2nd base. Blocking flashed average with times of stiffness in chest making ball bounce away from body; when able to roll shoulders blocking was better and allowed ball to deaden upon bounce.

4/5/19: Well defined, 6-foot-1 205, Lee is a physical, well-built backstop with noticeable strength development in defined physique. He profiles as everyday catcher with chance for average power production. He displays manageable length in a swing with strength and bat speed, making consistent hard contact. He drove the ball to both gaps and showed enough raw power in BP to hit the ball out to all fields. Behind the plate, he shows plus arm strength that plays down due to a slow release caused by a pause, allowing for longer arm draw to catch up. Work and development needed to sure up quicker release, providing better pop times. Reliable receiver with tendency to catch ball too deep, frequently flares elbow creating glove drag on glove side. HIs athleticism will provide for all minor adjustments and allow him to reach his ceiling. Lee's tools play. Will likely receive early round consideration on Day Two. (Gouldsmith)

7/13/186-foot-1, 210 pounds. Bulky, athletic frame. Flexible behind the dish, average pop time at 2.00. Very aggressive on keeping base runners honest. A lot of back picks. Comfortable, didn’t let many balls get by him and was an average blocker. Solid behind the plate. At the plate he had a short swing. Stayed balanced. Downward barrel path led to a lot of ground balls. Went 2-for-8 with two walks and two strikeouts. Put a lot of hard balls in play, and if he could change those grounders into line drives and fly balls I can see him excelling at the plate. Behind the dish, he got the job done. Was very aggressive, but smart, when holding runners on. (Stone)
