Bay Area World Series 2022 - Uncommitted; Long and lanky, thin lithe build, high tempo delivery, loose arm, lower slot and all of it adds up to a LHP who presents a different look and can be a useful member of a college staff, FB 79-82 mph, 2011 spin suggests he can definitely work down in zone with FB, big horizontal movement numbers so he can run it away from RHH and into LHH, with the slot and the run it's more of a flat running FB, 71-72 mph CB, sweepy CB with smooth wide break, diving darting (CHG 73-74 mph) with a lot of run (-17.8 HM), all three offerings have similar release height, works quickly and if attacking with his stuff and movement he can be quite effective.
v Leigh HS: Lean wiry body type, loosey goosey actions, loose arm with deception in delivery with kicking out of lead leg, quick break out of glove, numerous distractions for a hitter while keeping his head still and displaying outstanding body control, has ability to change slots from traditional 3/4 to low-3/4, can manipulate the FB, with what appeared to be slight flat cut to glove side and sink/diving depth on arm side, calm/cool mound presence while exuding confidence, presents a unique look for a college staff reliever.
