2/23/19 - The future UC-Santa Barbara Gaucho showed off his tools and ability in the run rule shortened game. Displayed good fielding fundamentals in between innings at shortstop and made all in game plays with ease. Size and strength could force him to third but his present day skills are good enough for short. Showed a patient approach at the plate walking once and taking pitches deep into the count. Kept his hands low and loads with a leg kick that projects well for gap to gap power. Intriguing prospect that is sure to stay on the radar thanks to his above-average size and athleticism at shortstop.
