Coming into the day as the team’s co-leader for extra base hits, he ended it with 2 more making it 5 extra base hits through 5 games. Brooks displayed his ability to drive the ball with power to the opposite field. In his 3 hit day, he recorded a double and homer to right center. He was very calm at the plate and the power seemed effortless. He would end the day 3-3 and a triple shy of the cycle. The approach looked good as he took big hacks early in counts while also bearing when behind, getting a 2 strike single. The 6’4 Junior will only continue to become more of a power threat as he continues to fill his frame and utilize his size at the plate.

Hit: RHH. Even stance with hands behind back shoulder. Relies on arms for power. Long one-handed finish. 63.5 mph bat speed with 3 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 94 max exit velocity, averaged 79.7 mph. 220' max distance. Hits the ball in the air from foul line to foul line.
Arm: RH. INF-80 mph. Long over the top release.
Defense: Controlled footwork that progresses through the play.
ATH: 7.11 runner in the 60. 1.67 and 3.91 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Gets into vertical position quickly. 26.10 max vertical.
