Yriqui was one of the more intriguing long term follows from the look, showing plenty to like in a 3.2 inning relief outing where he struck out seven and allowed two earned runs. The 6 foot 4 sophomore has a tall, wiry, highly projectable frame with long levers and obvious room to add strength, which already makes the profile interesting. He worked with a four pitch mix of FB, CH, SL, and CB, and the biggest takeaway was how comfortable he looked using all four. For a young arm, he showed good confidence throwing each pitch for strikes and gave hitters different looks throughout the outing. There is real upside here, especially if the body continues to develop. The fastball was 86 to 88, and he paired it with a sharp slider that showed some downward action, while mixing a changeup that helped keep hitters off balance. The CB looked more like a different shape than a true hammer, and it did not show a ton of depth, but it still played as another usable look in the mix. He was at his best once he settled in, though the command looked less steady later in the outing, which could have been tied to fatigue. Overall, this was an intriguing sophomore arm with feel for pitching, a projectable frame, and enough mix and strike throwing ability to make him a name worth tracking.

Yriqui turned in a strong four-inning outing, allowing one earned run while striking out five, showing a balanced attack with a three-pitch mix that kept hitters off balance. He worked with rhythm and confidence, gradually sharpening his secondary offerings as the outing progressed. The right-hander operates from an over-the-top slot, and with his long frame, the ball can be difficult for hitters to pick up, adding a layer of deception to his delivery. He worked 86-87 mph and touched 88, pairing the fastball with a 76-79 mph slider and a 77-79 mph changeup. The changeup stood out as a real weapon, generating a high number of swings and misses, especially in even counts. Yriqui also went frequently to the slider, showing the ability to manipulate it to both front-door and back-door hitters depending on the count. His delivery is easy and repeatable, and the long-limbed frame still has room for additional strength. With the low-effort operation and present velocity already showing well, further velocity jumps appear likely. A positive sign in this extended look was the fastball holding firm late, as he still ran four fastballs at 87 mph in the fourth inning.

Physical: 6-0, 150 pounds, Long/lean build. Plenty of room to fill/add. Average swift athletic tester.
Offensively: RHH. Wider/athletic stance. Early loader. Engages with backside/hip. Smaller takeback of hands. Some disconnection/length in the swing. Flatter bat path with a level 2-hand finish. More LDs than GBs/FBs during round. Top spin post-impact results to the pullside. Balanced throughout the swing. Defensively: INF - 63 MPH, Gets into quality fielding posture with glove set early and out front. Confident/sure glovework. Lighter feet shown on DP turns. Showed off the ability to stretch well at 1B on incoming throws. Average arm strength. Easy effort. Accurate throws. More in the tank.
Pitching: Side steps into a mid-chest knee lift. Engages with driveleg (More ER dominant, pushy off of it). Lower half works in-line. Average block. Hand lead path out the glove. Longer/loose AA. Arm at times was late working up. Worked to a normal 3/4 slot. Drops slot slightly on secondaries. Average arm speed. FB worked 68-72, flashed some riding shape with higher IVB. CB was 58-60 showing slurvy shape with more lateral break than drop. CH was 60-65 and showed decent fade to it (15 inch IHB) with not much depth.
