A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.

Bay Area World Series 2022 - Uncommitted; San Diego State commit; Long lanky body with a wide frame and ample room to fill out as he physically matures, three pitch mix and understanding of how to use his stuff, nothing overwhelming and it's the FB/CHG combo that is most effective with the breaking ball serving as a useful 3rd pitch, FB was 76-82 at BAWS, roughly 2000 avg spin so it's a fading running/movement dependent FB, given his 6-foot-2 height the 4.7 release height does work for him as the window of release is lower relative to his height than a hitter might logically expect, CHG 70-73 mph, the CHG release is very similar to the FB with bigger movement, sells the CHG well, avg 1332 CHG spin which does translate to the 2.2 IVB avg, smooth breaking CB 65-71 mph, 2032 max spin on the CB, seeing in just one look might not give enough time for appreciation of what he can do, but having seen him in spring/summer action the overall package is that of a 'pitcher' with feel for the craft.
2/28/22
v Leigh HS: Long lanky and rangy body with wide shoulders and frame to hold size and strength gains, 3/4 slot with some sling type arm action, some depth on backside and hides ball well, stable lower body through finish with in-line stride, lower body allows for consistent release, once settled in after the 1st inning his control and feel of the vast repertoire was good, FB with considerable ASR (79-82), best pitch is CHG with depth and ability to turn it over (72-74) and use for Ks, plays well off the FB, slider (71-72) with slurvy wide break that works for his slot and release w/potential to use backfoot vs RHH, CB is a bit loopier though did land for strikes, SL seems to fit his slot and overall repertoire better, flashed cutter as well (78 mph), mixed the FB/CHG/SL quite effectively.
6/22/21
Positional Profile: LHP Body: 6-2, 168-pounds. Long and lean, long legs, sizable upper body frame, looks the part of the projectable left-hander. Delivery: Overhead with hands to start, small rocker step in front of rubber, high knee lift to chest, slightly closed stride, outstanding rhythm, consistent timing of hands/feet, stable front side with balance through extension. Arm Action: LH. Long loose backside, medium depth to mid-thigh, gets to 3/4 slot, showed feel for release point on all pitches. FB: T77, 75-76 mph. Considerable tail and run, has comeback action on the glove side and ability to sink it down on arm side, gets to long extension with downward life off the lower release. CB: 61-63 mph. Feel around the zone, lower slot than FB, has continuous action through the zone, has feel for the release. SL: 65-68 mph. Similar release height off CB look, wider break with smaller vertical movement, slippery pitch, complements the full repertoire. CH: 68-69 mph. Dying fade on arm side, gets to maximum extension with lower slot off the FB, has feel and presents as a pitch that can get chases down and off the plate, the depth is good.
