ACG Tryout - Plus athlete with all kinds of tools. Tall and lean, DeVine showcased his 6.4-5 60 yard dash speed all over the field. With the strongest arm of the whole tryout, DeVine can almost stick anywhere on the diamond. Projects as a top of the lineup bat, with solid bat to ball skills.

Physical: 6-4, 190 with ++ speed; 6.54 60-yard dash
Offensively: RH. EV max – 93.3 mph, hand speed max – 19.6 mph, bat speed max – 69.7 mph; Tall upright stance with even feet. Short stride with a solid upward lift in his swing.
Defensively: OF Velo – 94 mph; INF Velo – 81; smooth feet with his tall stature give him plenty of range in the INF. In the OF, speed, and size play well. A quick infield-like arm action allows him to get the ball out quickly. DeVine shows good footwork in both the INF and OF. Gets around balls on the ground and creates positive momentum.
