Hit: Balanced, upright stance, with slight knee bend. Hands start above the shoulder at ear level, with barrel lying flat, and some bat waggle present. Works with controlled load, sitting into back knee initially. Hands drift back as back elbow raises. Uses small toe tap backwards as timing mechanism, before long stride forward. Weight shifts towards front side as he sinks into his legs during the turn. Hips turn quickly, getting some solid separation. Hands follow quickly, with present bat speed and get extended well. Barrel path works upwards, with good feel for lifting the ball with hard contact. Shows power to the gaps and to pull side. mph bat speed with g of rotational acceleration.
