vs Encinal - Whitman College commit (Oregon); Tall, thin, wiry build. Still has room to fill out. Smooth delivery, repeats well. Arm action is clean, comes out of high 3/4 slot. High leg kick, reaches hand back creating deception. Turns hips to plate before foot lands. Quick worker. Uses mound to advantage, works downhill. Finishes mostly square to home plate with slight fall off toward 3B side. Solid 4-pitch mix. FB has late life and explodes effortlessly out of hand. Likes it and used it often. CB has late, sharp bite. Has SL, didn’t show it much although it was tough to see given angle of bleachers, none directly behind home plate. CH has late fade, got several swings and misses on it. Really got into a groove after some traffic in 1 st inning. Settled down and kept hitters off balance. Hit for himself, recorded a hit and sac fly.

BAWS 2019 - Long, lean frame with length in the arms and square frame. Stays tall on the rubber with high front knee tucking quickly; athletic and fluid delivery. Hands break cleanly over front knee with glove having love high turn; stays online with front hip. Compact arm with 3/4 release having some deception with ball being hard to pick up before coming out of release point. FB 78-80 T81 using in all quadrants and ability to have pitch move through the zone; flashed some angle on both sides. CHG 74 with some small arm side actions; limited usage. SLD 69-72 able to locate on both sides of the plate; small cut with flashes of tilt and depth. SLD surprised some hitters getting a couple K’s. Frame has some projection with a good idea of how to use his pitches.
