5/27/19 - N. CA Underclass ID - Long medium frame with high waist and very lean build; Young with lots of projection in frame to add more strength and fill in. Athletic with quicker agility and moves better than number (7.58 60yd). Tall stance, slight bend in knee with hands even wider away from back shoulder and high back elbow. Foot lift as his hands work directly back into shoulder with rhythm showing balance in back leg. Swing attacks the baseball with quick bat staying behind the ball and creating easy leverage to the middle of the field (85 EV) lifting through contact. Regularly showed power in the swing and drove the middle of the field. High, wide stance behind the plate with clean movements from glove to throwing hand; arm is compact from ear with growing strength regularly around bag (2.15-2.29 Pop/71 MPH). Blocks well with wide hips and walled chest allowing ball to keep short in front. Low hips when receiving showing ability to move arm and glove hand to beat the baseball; can work on having lower glove target. Agile frame with good lateral movement and ability; project more as he continues to mature.
