at College Park - Uncommitted. 6-foot, 165-pounds w lanky/wiry but athletic build. Certainly has room to grow into bigger frame. Mechanically sound, uses slightly open stance with left foot raised. Feet close together to start, then raises front leg for leg kick and has medium stride. Quiet hands for the most part, raises back elbow slightly on load. Good level swing with slight high finish but keeps bat through zone long enough to make solid contact. Had competitive at-bats; impressed by his ability to see pitches. In first at-bat, which eventually resulted in him reaching on an error. Did expand his zone occasionally; chased a high fastball in his second at-bat. Ended up 1-for-4 with a single and advanced to second on throwing error in 3rd at-bat. Later scored on sac fly and showed average speed getting down line. Average fielder, doesn’t have a great arm but is capable of making accurate throws. Took charge on a shallow pop-up to center.

Positional Profile: OF/3B Body: 6-0, 165-pounds. Lithe lean body, plenty of frame to still fill in, athletic proportions. Hit: RHH. Narrow feet, slight crouch/hunch, early engagement in lower half, loose but ready hands, medium knee lift, minimal load over backside, small hand movement before firing, lands with balance in slightly closed stride, hands direct to ball. Handsy swing, contact oriented approach, spray type hitter, soem XBH pop could come on with strength gains; 71% on plane, 12 max rotational acceleration, 50% line drives, 37.5% fly balls. Power: 87 mph exit velocity in live BP via TrackMan. Max hand speed 18.8, max bat speed 67.4. Arm: RH. OF - 81 mph. Compact arm action, average raw arm strength, accuracy is a strength, fair carry. Defense: Reads ball early, aggressive to ball into throwing mechanics, makes early adjustments in routes, sound mechanics, projects to CF/LF. Run: 7.03 runner in the 60.
