Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with a slight barrel tip with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 91.00 MPH via Trackman. Has loose hands with a whippy bat through the zone. Noticeable 78% on-plane efficiency. Consistent barrels with contact out front..
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep hop while being aggressive in his first moves. Hands are firm with a delay in transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 82.00 MPH.

Hit: RHH. Medium width feet, tucked back knee, slight pinched feet, barrel relaxed over shoulder, calm small load, small stride. Efficient smooth stroke, displays barrel control while creating life in the swing, balanced throughout, aggressive attack angle, fly ball approach; 18.5 max rotational acceleration (13.2 avg), 78% on plane efficiency, 87.6% LDs/fly balls.
Power: 88 mph exit velocity in live BP via TrackMan. 66.5 max bat speed.
Arm: RH. INF - 81 mph. Short arm stroke, flashed multiple arm angles, inconsistent accuracy and carry from SS position.
Defense: Soft sure hands, quick feet, plays well on move, there is an extra footstep on longer throws, plays ball confidently, plays low in set up.
Run: 6.95 runner in the 60.
NorCal Preseason All-State:

5-6, 155 compactly build showing current muscle in shoulders/chest and twitchy attributes (7.04 60yd). Squatted stance with flared elbows and bat at back shoulder; engages lower half on load as hands lift with small foot lift. Hands are direct to the ball with level path and high finish; times where barrel get around hands leading to lots of pulled contact (81 EV). Feet are active and quick at SS using his athleticism to make plays look easy; glove is soft playing with two hands out front and ability to press through hops when needing. Arm is compact (76 MPH), but has a tendency to pop out of posture leading to throws high at the target during event. There’s more available in the arm and the tools have space to keep improving. A 2022 to follow over this season.
