10-24-2018: Large frame with lean build showing defined strength in legs and wider, framed shoulders along with high waist. At the plate utilizes an open, slightly crouched stance with high hands and a high back elbow. Utilizes a high front knee as hands stay wide following a small U shaped pattern during load; hands attack on plane with ability to be direct while showing strong bat-to-ball skills. Showed quick bat speed while making consistent contact during game and in batting practice: BP he peppered gaps with line drives staying behind the baseball through contact while in game worked with a bit more loft while making hard contact to RCF. Fringe-average runner (4.63 H-1st) with shorter stride and high knees; flashed better running when in center field with the ability to let longer legs work unrestricted. Defensively showed a tick-above average range with ability to dropstep, open hips and go get the ball into both gaps; made highlight reel catch jumping into wall in LCF going all out to make catch. Fringe average arm that has recently moved from the infield to the outfield and shows with shorter arm action and inconsistent usage of his legs when throwing. (Ozella)
