6/07/25
Bone checked in at a strongly built 6'1 204.4 lbs with high quality athleticism in his solid build posting a 7.05 60 yard time including an impressive 1.55 second 10 yard split. His defensive workout out was solid across the board looking comfortable in the OF while throwing 85 MPH with solid present accuracy, plus showing off a versatile corner defensive profile at 1B with soft hands, good footwork and an accuracy to his 86 MPH INF arm velocity. Where he shined brightest on the day was during the batting practice session when he strength showed up consistently over three rounds of BP swings he launched four different balls over 100 MPH in exit velocity peaking at 101.7 with a 389' blast to LCF which hit the top of the fence in the deep gaps of the AVC field and showed strength when driving the ball to the opposite field during batting practice. Bone posted strong underlying batted ball metrics with a 54% hard hit rate, 63% fly ball/line drive rate and an 88.1 MPH average exit velocity. Looking the part of a powerful offensive profile corner defender there is impact in his offensive potential to generate interest from college programs in the 2026 class.
