Positional Profile: RHP/RHP Athletic right-hander with a smooth, deceptive delivery; showing swing-and-miss potential.
Body: 5-11, 187-pounds. Athletic, well-balanced build with room to add future strength.
Delivery: Smooth, effortless delivery with an inward turn leg lift, keeping weight back while moving down the mound. Body stays loose and fluid throughout.
Arm Action: RH. Delivers from a 3/4 arm slot with a whippy action, hides the ball well out of the hand causing deception.
FB: T87, 80-85 mph. FB with late arm-side run and moderate vertical ride, giving it late life through the zone. Spin allows it to stay on plane and get in on the hands to RHHs. T2181, 2053 average rpm.
SL: 75-78 mph. Tight, sweeping SL. Combo of firm velocity and spin allows for late bite, making it effective for chasing hitters off the plate. T2327, 1820 average rpm.
CH: 78-79 mph. High-spin CH with heavy arm-side run and very little vertical drop. The spin and velocity separation from the FB make it deceptive, inducing weak contact, especially off a FB tunnel. T2084, 2039 average rpm.

Patel made the trip down from NorCal to be a part of the 2025 California State Games and the Valley Christian product made the most of his three innings on the bump. With a medium build at 5'11 186.5 lbs. he pitches off a quality three pitch mix fronted by a FB which lived at 83-86 MPH and touched 87 MPH showing heavy running life to his arm side averaging 17" of horizontal run that played effectively down in the zone or above the zone. The arm side running offering for Patel sets up a quality SLD in the 75-79 MPH range with generates an average of 7+" of glove side movement reaching as high as 11.8" of movement. He completed the arsenal with a 78-79 MPH CHG with a similar movement profile to his FB. The east/west attack profile helped produce contact on the ground and picked up five Ks over his three innings of work.
