Event: NorCal ProCase
Positional Profile: RHP
Physical: 5-foot-11, 175-pounds; compact frame, built like middle infielder.
Delivery: High leg kick and hitches all weight onto the back leg. Explodes forward with velocity and spin giving a rising affect from the smaller frame.
Arm Action: Over-the-top with shorter arm path, cocks arm at 90 degrees and follows through with his body catapulting his arm forward to the point of release.
FB: T90.0 mph, 89.3 - 89.8 mph range, 2141 avg spin; Commands outer half well with the ability to spot on the inside at will.
CB: 76.1 - 76.8 mph, 2833 avg spin; CB freezes batters, sharp movement, and dominating spin.
CH: 77.5 - 78.5 mph, 1783 avg spin; Arm slows a little bit, tunnels well off FB with a little bit of dive. Relies on speed difference to fool batters.
vs Casa Grande - Struggled with FB control early, found rhythm starting in 2nd inning when he went to CB to get a different feel for the ball, FB peaked at 89 mph, steady in wind-up, slight dip when in stretch and going to slide step. Used CHG and CB effectively for strikeouts. Late bite on CB that has elite level spin and at times is a hammer, quick arm on the CHG, lively movement and can use on both sides of plate.

Body: 5-11, 177-pounds; Lean visible strength, put together like an athlete, proportioned with some width through shoulders.
Delivery: Lifts to chest height, worked from stretch exclusively, tucks a bit over rubber, athletic and explosive, hands works in coordination with lift, separates on time while clearing arms from body, lower body provides strength and stability, in-line stride while landing with closed foot, backside clears into fielding position as he finishes.
Arm Action: Compact circle on backside with hip depth, gets to overhand release, smooth quick arm, accelerates easily into release, full finish with back shoulder getting through.
FB: T89.7 mph, 88-89 mph range, 2211 max spin; Quick, can climb on top of it and power through lower part of zone with tilt, working down consistently with occasional challenges above the belt works as an approach.
CB: 68-70, 2771 max spin; Big time spin, has feel, quick change of direction with swing and miss bite/depth, on arm side can get buckling action to a RHH, break happens through zone vs into zone.
CHG: 73-76 mph, 1829 avg spin; Showed ability to make adjustments, when body was calm and allowed hand to travel there was considerable late life and movement, chance to become a swing and miss pitch change of pace as hitters are defensive vs quick FB and biting CB.
Bay Area World Series 2022 - Uncommitted; Athletic body, lean with sinewy strength throughout, one of top 2024 RHP in Northern CA, flashes three pitches that all have a chance to register as plus at the major college level, clean compact backside, FB peaked at 89 mph with 72% zone percentage, the spin number indicates it's a sinker he can emply (2033 max), FB does have downward late life, the CB (73-74 mph) is the pitch that will immediately grab attention even with the naked eye due to the max spin of 2861 and avg of 2764, it's a hissing CB with bite and snap, change-up (77-78 mph) has considerable arm side movement and life, able to manipulate the movement to get swings and misses, HIGH level of athleticism on the mound, easy lively arm, there is some "Greinke-ish-ness" to his look and his arm action and overall projection profile.
vs Casa Grande HS: Chance to develop into one of top 2024 RHP in the class in Northern CA; Lean athletic body type on smaller frame, clean easy arm action, compact backside, high-3/4, in-line stride, lift slightly above belt, outstanding body control throughout the delivery, three future above average pitches, confident/calm/competitive demeanor including through some less than fantastic umpiring in 2-strike counts, painted FB on arm side vs LHH, occasional pull just off plate to glove side, snappy 11/6 CB with late bite/swing and miss action, able to lean on it to escape trouble, big ASR with depth on CHG with turbo-action. Collected a double and single to LF for good measure.
