Positional Profile: C/3B - Listed in Quick Hits as a standout performer at the event
Physical: 6-0, 185-pounds; Broad shouldered, muscular build. 7.27 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with a gliding stride for timing. Drifts into contact while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 92 MPH via Trackman. Physical young hitter, displayed timing and ability to consistently drive the ball with power and do so without overswinging.
Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; utilizing a one knee approach while staying low during receiving. Hands are soft while staying low during transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. 2.08-2.13 pop times. C - 78 MPH. Strong arm, powerful legs, throws to the bag either on a line or on a long hop, showed ability to receive on either knee and get thumb under ball.
