Uncommitted; Strong thick build looked to be about 5-foot-10 190-pounds, good catcher body/proportions, was a pleasure to watch behind the plate. Has has excellent receiving skills with strong soft hands and clean technique. Blocked well in each opportunity to do so, showing enough agility and quickness, also done with good technique. Strong legs on him and that leg strength serves him really well as he sets up and moves around. The arm is servicable and he made accurate throws (warm-up tosses) from 2.12-2.19. Would obviously need to shave some time off those times beyond the high school level. Good talker on the field and displayed leadership qualities. Offensively he showed a knack for the RBI and some raw strength and balance, though his timing is better than his raw bat speed at this time. Could certainly see him providing very quality depth at the four year level and if he chooses the JC route, perhaps more than that depending on his development.
