ACG Tryout - Very calm body language in all aspects of the game. Slightly open, crouched stance and minimal load with a whippy left handed swing. Moss had the strongest arm at the tryout and threw an accurate 85 mph from a high slot. Ran a 7.06 60 yard dash. Exudes confidence on the field.

Event: Far North Preseason ID Positional Profile: SS Physical: 6-0, 179-pounds; 3.95 30-yard, 26.9” max jump height; Athletically put together, lean strength on frame that has some width through upper body, has some twitchiness in actions and athleticism. Offensively: LH. EV max – 88.6 mph (wood), hand speed max – 21.8 mph, bat speed max – 69.4 mph; Feet just outside shoulders, slight crouch and slightly open, back foot pinched toward plate, bat over shoulder near neck and stays pretty tight to shoulder/neck as the load is mostly a tilting of the barrel behind the head as hands stay pretty much where they start, back elbow parallel to ground before driving to connection with back hip, smooth modestly long stride while creating separation, hips drift into rotation before contact, has ability to fire a whippy barrel with life, swing was lively through contact, somewhat uphill attack angle but plane was consistent, there are hit tools and athleticism that works for him in the box. Defensively: SS – 84.6 mph; Light feet, efficient actions, gets ball out quickly with loose strong arm, some length on the backside of arm stroke but can throw with multiple angles and on the run, fluid fielder with confidence, keeps hands off the body as he moves to transfer, rangy infielder.
6/12/22
Bay Area World Series 2022 - Uncommitted; One of top 2024 SS in the class in Northern CA, lean athletic body, wiry strength on average size frame, ran 6.96 60-yd (have seen as low as 6.84), 83 mph top SS throw and showed usability of the arm strength in game play, can get a little loose at times with the accuracy but he's willing to cut it loose, highly competitive LHH with ability to drive ball and use legs to put pressure on the defense, showed ability to make consistent contact in game play and though didn't collect all the hits he would have wanted the at-bats were sound, max EV of 90.4 mph, 20% hard hit % (balls over 90 mph), 80% sweet spot % and 70% line drives both show his ability to control the barrel.
6/06/21
Bay Area World Series Underclass (6/4/21-6/6/21)
Offensive notes: Balanced and high hands using early rhythm. Hands stay with backside and quick hands through the zone. Feel of the barrel allowed him to work hard liners from line-to-line and carry to the gap. Consistently balanced and control of the swing showing it in games. Didn't chase and when he saw his pitch was on time and let barrel work. Very athletic and high upside on profile. 60-yard - 6.86 / EV mph - 90
Defensive notes: Athletic and uses his feet and glove in time. Showed good ability to work to the right of the ball quickly and then through the baseball having feet and arm on time. Loose arm, accurate and able to keep it firm to the bag. INF mph - 75
Pitching notes: Simple delivery with tight tucked front knee before sink down the hill with closed landing. Turns quickly over front side and compact high back elbow, H-3/4 release. Pitches with tempo not allowing hitters much time. FB had cut and hard pull to glove side; competed with it even when it's control wasn't at it's peak. SLD short depth with later hard break off the plate. CHG was straight with ability to locate glove side. FB 77-79 / SL 67-70 / CHG 68-71
