8/21/19:During a quick one inning relief look, the durable bodied Bibee who stands 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, pumped fastballs at 89-91 mph with mid 2200 spin rates. From a high three-quarter release point he used good arm speed to spin his favorite pitch, a plus curveball at 76-78 mph. It had great shape, good depth and late bite. Also showed a cutter at 88 mph, a new pitch he developed this summer. He finished the Cape season with 19 strikeouts in 17.1 IP and a 3.63 ERA. Also armed with a strong work ethic and top-scale makeup, Bibee projects to be a Day Two pick this June. (Seifert)
2/15/19:Athletic build. Strike thrower. Struggled with control early. Clean arm circle. Worked fastball in/out at 91-93 mph. Occasional cut. Kept ball off barrel. More fly balls than ground balls. Changeup and curveball to both LHH and RHHs. Threw straight CH 79-83 mph at any time. Good arm speed. CB mainly for show at 78-80 mph. Popped out of hand. Good lead leg to work into, occasional grinds off heal and falls off. Good pickoff move and ability to field position. Potential innings eater due to low pitch counts. (Arnold)
