7/13/18 - San Diego State commit. Evaluation at USA PBP workout, showed pullside power during BP, more uphill with swing angle than saw in previous games, strong young man with great frame and plenty of hitting talent. Got long in the two live at-bats he had. Defensively showed good body control and ability to throw from multiple angles, arm projects as above average on a pro scale, can stay at shortstop as long as he retains the same body control and ability to throw on move.

3/26/18 - San Diego State commit. Saw in a few games at Boras Classic. 6-foot-2 195-pound strong, lean, athletic frame that definitely stands out on a 2020 shortstop Competitive shortstop with quiet intensity who appears to love to succeed and hate to fail. Excellent even-keel demeanor who makes you forget he’s on the field until he makes his next play. Ball jumps out of his hand and accelerates across the diamond from shortstop. Loves to throw on the run, can spin throw and throw across the body on a ball up the middle. Mature approach at the plate. Athletic leg kick in his load, off his back leg though contact, with a full finish follow through. Doesn’t cut the swing short. Power will come as his body matures. Barrel is highly efficient, in the zone, inside the ball, hits with his legs and hands. Not a lot of upper body moving parts throughout the swing.
