vs Freedom HS in NCS D1 playoff - Nevada commit; lean smaller body type with sinewy strength, impacted this game with bat and performance in big moment, lead-off hitter slashed double down left field line on first pitch of game, later lined 2-rbi singe into centerfield to break game open, quick bat, short to contact and good through contact, all field approach, tough out with peskiness and bat speed to beat quality pitching, defensively played 3rd base and later shortstop when starter went on mound to close the game, showed range to left on diving play, good glove skills and hand/eye, arm is fair and projects best at 2nd base. Accurate throws and seemed cool under pressure. Good ballplayer.
Boras Classic 2018 - Lean and lithe young body type at 5-foot-8 150-pounds, he has some life in that body and a little bit of twitchiness. On a team full of physical older players he stands out in different ways, showing in a short viewing that he's got a full game that will continue to blossom as he matures. First noticed his real quick glove to hand transfer on the double play turns then the quick hands also showed up in a real flat line drive stroke. Confident player with athleticism to make a variety of plays necessary at the shortstop position. Starter at 2nd base and gets some shortstop time when the senior starter moves behind the plate. Not a real deep and long viewing of him but he quickly showed enough to earn a look in the future.
