9/9/18 - We last saw the Pepperdine commit at the Area Code Games tryouts and we got more of the same from him. Consistently works around the zone with a loose, whippy arm that looks almost like he's slingshotting the ball towards home plate. Induces a lot of swing-and-miss because he's always around the zone with three pitches. Curveball is tight with late break from the same arm speed as fastball. Shows 11/5 break. Showed average command of curveball. Fastball has life as it enters the hitting zone. Because of the slingshot-like arm action the ball jumps on hitters and appears firmer than it is.
