2/27/19 - 6-foot-4, 190-pounds, Conant really impressed with his 4 2/3 inning outing. Conant works out of the stretch, coming out of a high ¾ slot. The arm really works well and is able to repeat his delivery on a consistent basis. Fastball sat 83-86, topping 87 with some late life. Flashed a good 11/5 curveball 65-68, and mixed in a few change-ups at 77-79. Finished the night giving up 2-hits, striking out nine, with 5-walks.

9/30/18 - At 6-foot-3, 170-pounds, the rising junior shows a loose arm from a full path in the back through to his ¾ slot. His fastball shows run to the arm side at 85 mph the pitch shows sinking action to the back foot of righties. He consistently threw the pitch for strikes and/or induced weak contact. Conant featured a sharp, downer curveball with 12/6 shape that he shows command of. His best present pitch may be his changeup that he throws from the same arm speed as the fastball and flashes sinking action that he kept at the knees or below. Conant threw one pitch that had characteristics of a cutter at 81 mph. The pitch was a called strike.
