SoCal Preseason All-State. UCSB commit. 6-feet, 170 lbs. Plus frame, high waist, with toned, slender legs, and lean athleticism throughout. There is significant physical projection remaining. Showed a whippy bat with a long, high finish. Rodriguez squared the ball up consistently in his batting practice round. Gap-to-gap at current time but with added strength will have over the fence power potential. Demonstrated he has the ability to range to any ball, left or right, and displayed a plus arm tool often chest high on throws to first base. Not a true base threat, but will be adequate on the bases.
