Erdmann got the start for the Jesuit today and didn’t have his best stuff early in the game. The Bells were finding barrels when it was in the zone, but Erdmann still flashed some electric pitches, especially his FB in which he was running up to 94 MPH and sitting between 91-93 MPH. He paired that with his SL which was in the 78-81 MPH range having some sharp break to it. Erdmann made up for the runs in the first two innings by securing three hits of his own going 3-3 on the day with three singles. Two of those singles were to the opposite side, and the other hit was smoked right back up the middle. It's very easy to lose sight of an approach, Erdmann has got a feel for the bat when he steps into the box, which is why LMU is getting a great package deal with him coming to campus next year.
