Guzman turned in some of the loudest overall metrics of the entire event. He opened the day with a 7.07 60-yard dash. From there, he impressed defensively by throwing 90 mph across the infield, the top INF velocity recorded at the event, showing both carry and accuracy on his throws. The standout performance continued in BP, where Guzman posted a max exit velocity of 101.2 mph (also an event-best) while averaging 88.9 mph with a max distance of 357 feet, driving balls consistently to the pull side with authority. The slightly uphill path and compact, powerful stroke are designed to elevate and hit the ball in the air. At 6-2, 176 pounds, Guzman’s projectable, athletic frame already shows present strength in his game, and with continued physical development, there’s indication that his power and arm strength will only continue to climb.
