When Gregory first started doing events with Prep Baseball, he was primarily a catcher, it wasn’t until last season where he began to pursue his future on the mound. Gregory can still swing it and can actually still catch, but his talent on the mound is where he will stick around the longest. Yesterday had some gusty winds taking into account, but that didn't change anything for Gregory, he still managed to go out and put his team in a position to win. Gregory relies on his fastball which was sitting between 84-86 mph T87, he has more of an East/West attack, but it plays extremely well off of his secondaries. Gregory occasionally flashed a changeup between 75-76 mph, his main pitches were his SL which was between 75-78 mph with late/sharp bite. A new pitch from Gregory this year is the splitter, and he seemed to be using that as his put away pitch. There is still a lot to work for Gregory to do and clean up, but he’s such an athletic mover on the mound, don’t let the velocity fool you right now, because there is a lot more on that arm.
