5-foot-10, 160-pound right hand hitting MIF. Offensively he has a balanced simple set up.  Stand slightly open with a long stride to come square.  Swing is flat with the barrel in the zone for an extended amount of time.  Good lower leg drive creates an 82 mph exit velocity.  Defensively he is smooth and polished.  Fields through the ball with a quick transfer.  Arm played at 73 mph with a quick release and accuracy.

5-foot-7, 135 pounds. Bats and throws right. Saw Smith a year ago and he improved on every single physical measurement. At the plate starts with a slightly open athletic stance and closes down. With slight leg kick gets good lower half rotation. Swing is uphill, and has a tendency to want to lift the ball. Has good wrists through the zone. Exit velo up from 75 to 80. Defensively had a very good weekend making some tough plays at short. Plays defense with a lot of confidence. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot and accurate at 71 mph up from 64 last year. Ran a 7.3 laser timed 60 up from 7.6 a year ago. Has a lot of tools.
8-8-15
5-foot-4, 121 pounds. Bats and throws right. Smith was one of the youngest players at event and showed some good tools that he will grow into. Stands tall at the plate right now with hands high. Has slight leg kick and don't mistake current size right now with swing, he gets up there and takes a big hack. Generates good bat whip and is long through the ball with good lower half. Has very good extension with high finish. Wants to crush the ball. Exit velocity was 75 mph. On defense had good actions and plays with confidence. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot across diamond with quick release at 64 mph. Ran a 7.70 60.
6-23-15
Smith ran a 7.70 60-yard dash, tops for 2019’s at this showcase.  He threw 63 mph across the diamond and showcased good hands and feet that worked together to get into proper throwing position.  At the plate Smith starts from an open stance, a double toe tap followed by a high leg kick gets him in hitting position.  An upward swing path produced a 66 mph exit velocity.
