6-foot-5, 205-pound right-handed pitcher, was the top pitcher at this year’s USG.  He impressed with an 88 MPH fastball and good command of the zone.  Throwing from a motion with good balance and drive to the plate, his tall body allows him to deliver a pitcher that gets on you in a hurry.  He has an over the top motion and good arm speed on all pitches.  His curve was 67-69 with 11/5 break and most of the time it started in the middle of the plate and worked off the outside corner.  He added a 76 MPH change that had good down movement.

Hansen 6-foot-5, 205 pound, had the game winning hit for Slammers Blue against Erie in the bottom of the 7th.  He has an 83 mph arm from the outfield and showed an 86-88 mph fastball in his one inning of work in this game. At the plate hits from a tall,  balanced stance and short stride. Simple swing lets his hands and bat speed do the work. Bat comes through the zone and generates good back-spin on the ball for drive and carry. In last event exit velo was 92 mph.

5-4-15
6-foot-5, 215 pounds. Player who shows a lot of power potential. At the plate hits from a tall,  balanced stance and short stride. Simple swing lets his hands and bat speed do the work. Showed power at the plate hitting 2 homeruns at the tryout. Bat comes through the zone and generates good back-spin on the ball for drive and carry, and produced a 92 mph exit velo off the tee. Has good lower half. In the outfield gets behind ball well on fly balls. Projects as a corner OF. Threw 83 mph at the tryout. Ran a 7.31 60 time. Player to follow.
6-foot-5 205 lb. OF/RHP, Bats and throws right. Big athletic looking player. Hits from an tall stance with leverage to ball. Has slight upright swing with good bat speed and extension that produces pull power. Has long, loose arm action on throws, with solid  mid 80's velocity from outfield.  As a sophomore Hanson hit .404 in 52 at-bats and lead the Cadets in RBI's with 22. Also had 7 doubles and 1 HR.
